WARNING: Enhanced Tornado Watch For Tornado Outbreak Issued For MS, AL, TN, and Kentucky For March 25, 2021

National Weather Force has issued an ENHANCED TORNADO WATCH effective now for Central/Northern MS, Northwest AL, Western/Central TN, and the Southern half of Kentucky for a tornado outbreak so read on for details …

For the last couple of days, the National Weather Force tornado model was edging in on a higher risk tornado event extending even into Tennessee and Kentucky.  This was challenged and will be again today.  The model indicates that storms forming out ahead of the system in Central/Northern Mississippi around 1-2pm Eastern Time will be in a very strong environment for violent/strong long tracking tornadoes capable of EF3 or higher damage, in some cases the model even paints an area of violent EF4-5 dynamics in parts of MS.  This will spread northward through the Northwest half of Alabama and Tennessee as the day moves along due to the instability corridor spreading into those areas, eventually into Kentucky.  The National Weather Force tornado model does indicate EF3 potential as far as Southern Kentucky so be aware of this.

What is different from the last outbreak is the winds are stronger in the upper levels, have a more widespread low level flow backing out of the southeast, and compact areas of upper divergence within the main area of ascent.  This means that all the energy of this upper level dynamic will make all storms rotate in the red/magenta shaded zones as soon as they form.

Arkansas, your morning convection is bringing instability values down, the exception being along the front in the Eastern half of the State.
