Forecast: An upper level low will eject into the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday, bringing with it a split even with snow north and heavy rain to the south. This alert for flooding extends from Maryland through to the Maine Coastal zones. The heaviest rainfall will be from Eastern Long Island and Connecticut through RI/MA and the Maine Coast this day. Winter Storm Watch – The winter weather watch means that below winter storm watch/warning levels will happen, but snow is still expected to accumulate at limits. The Winter Storm Watch however extends from VT/NH and Northern Maine on your Saturday. Heavy snowfall is very likely, the heaviest across Northern N into Maine.
