Site: National Weather Force has issued a Winter Weather Watch effective overnight on Saturday and into Sunday.
Date: 12/10/20 at 5:10pm Central Time
Forecast: Cold air in place overnight on Saturday will meeting a fast-moving impulse through the region. This impulse will exit through AR/MO later on Sunday. Snowfall will be the heaviest at the center of the watch area. This watch is a pre-alert to a winter weather advisory. Brief Winter Storm Watch criteria may be possible for Northwest Oklahoma but in a very small area.
This watch does cover the major metro zones of Wichita, Amarillo, and Oklahoma City.
The eastern end of this watch does have areas in SOuthwest Missouri in it, so areas in the Joplin zone will also be affected.
