Severe Storms Including Tornadoes Likely For Deep South Inner Locations On Thursday March 25, 2021

A week after the tornado outbreak hit the Deep South, another disturbance moving out of the west will bring another round of severe weather, including tornadoes as far north as Kentucky, centering MS/AL/TN yet again as well so read on for details …

Last week, National Weather Force grids detected and predicted a tornado outbreak for Mississippi and Alabama.  Over 50 tornadoes were reported in the outbreak and a number of people injured.  Now, yet another system is setting to target the same region on your Thursday, March 25th, 2021.  National Weather Force models show dynamics developing again in Eastern AR and Northeast LA, stretching east into MS/AL and north through a lot of Tennessee and even further north into Kentucky.   A surface low moving through on Thursday will have adequate moisture, instability, and low level shear for tornadoes.  Watches will be needed when the time comes so keep an eye on the day.

Last event had a large area of red-shade, which is second to the strongest risk I have.  NOA went the strongest, which wasn’t too good because I feel high risk tornado probabilities should be for the stronger F4-5 scenarios.  Last week never was looking like that on my grids.  That is why I was a tad weaker in risk than they.  This time, I’m going to keep it between a yellow (notable) and low-end strong event, but not stronger than last week.  My risk scale goes from 1 to 5.  Last week was a 4, this will be a 3 to low end 4 … so still a notable event.

THIS SPRING IS GOING TO BE A LONG SPRING WITH A LOT OF TORNADOES IN BOTH TORNADO AND DIXIE ALLEY …
