National Weather Force has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for the Central and Eastern parts of Florida effective now through midnight tonight.
Seabreeze convergence boundaries will be active today, the most active in the Orlando, Florida forecast areas. This means that the theme park zones will be at the center of the most severe activity. Severity within the boundaries includes hail, wind, and even an isolated tornado risk. This risk also extends to the Kennedy Space Center.
Given the clash of the convergence zones, flooding with over 3-5″ of rain in a short period of time will also accompany the storms. If you are planning on a visit, plan to have the flooding extend into the night hours, possibly affecting the firework shows.
